Help make plastic a thing of the past in your office

We're often asked by people - eager to play their part in restoring the planet - "how can I help?"

Well, one simple thing that lots of people can do to play their part is to make the right introductions. Sustainable solutions in your workplace 

At Notpla, we’re passionate about making packaging disappear naturally - targeting many of those everyday moments when single-use plastic is present. Lots of us use takeaway food containers, often for our lunches in the office. The vast majority of these containers are - unfortunately - coated with a thin, invisible layer of plastic or chemicals. So, we developed a solution! Our seaweed-based coating is a 100% natural alternative to those problem materials used in traditional takeaway food containers, resulting in a sustainable, plastic-free alternative that won’t harm the planet.

Here's how you can help (and win a free lunch!)

1. Introduce Notpla to your team. We've prepared a short message below you can copy & paste, explaining why you'd love to see Notpla in your office. Feel free to write your own message, if you'd prefer.
2. Send it to whoever's responsible for catering and/or sustainability in your office. This might be a Catering Manager, someone in the Sustainability team or in Office Services.
3. If your introduction leads to us having a meeting with your company, you’ll receive a £25 food delivery voucher as a thank you. 
4. Don't forget to ask them to mention your name when they get in touch.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 18+, excluding Notpla employees, their families, or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
2. Promotion Period: Valid from 09:00 13th September 2024 to 19:00 October 31st 2024. Entries submitted after this period may not qualify.
3. How to Enter:
   • Contact someone relevant to the procurement, supply or decision-making related to foodservice, office catering or sustainability in your office.
   • Retain proof of your introduction being made.
   • A meeting between Notpla and the relevant team member within your company must be confirmed for the referral to qualify. The person who Notpla meet with must verify that you made the introduction.
4. Reward: A voucher to the value of £25 (GBP) for a UK-operational food delivery company of your choice will be issued after a meeting is confirmed between Notpla and a relevant team member at the company being introduced. Only one reward per participant/company. In the event of multiple introductions being made per company, Notpla will provide a voucher to the person who made the introduction first. The voucher is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be provided.
5. Verification: Notpla may request further proof of the referral to verify the introduction before issuing the reward.
6. Privacy: Your personal data may be used for administering the promotion and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. General: This promotion is governed by English law.
